Me & Me: Comprehensive MS Care with Dr. Aaron Boster
Tonight’s guest Aaron Boster, MD, board-certified clinical neuroimmunologist specializing in multiple sclerosis at Ohio Health, will join us to discuss comprehensive healthcare for patients living with multiple sclerosis. Dr. Boster knew he wanted to become an MS specialist since he was 12 years old when his uncle was diagnosed with the disease. This personal connection and experience inspired him to treat MS patients and their families differently.
MS & Me is a caller Q&A and featured guest show focusing on day to day living with multiple sclerosis.
Host Erika Lyons Richardson has had Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus since childhood. Her PRMS went misdiagnosed for many years taking her eyesight several times and causing two strokes. Her experience as a former admin for the Lupus Foundation group led her to co-found SLE & ME, Erika’s Health Warriors; MS, Lupus & Me; as well as her work with Heather’s MS Family, Shezza & Her Amazing Warriors!, MSPals, writing articles for MS websites and her awareness videos on the MS & Me YouTube channel. Although she is wheelchair bound and living with advanced MS, Erika lives a purposeful and active life.
Host of MS & Me Jessica Bias knows autoimmune disease all too well. Diagnosed with RRMS back in 2010, this young mother also lives with Lupus. Her family has a long history living with autoimmune disease including MS. Jessica stays active coaching her daughter Emma’s softball team and loves outdoor sports. Jessica’s work with Heather’s MS Family brought her together with Erika and they have worked on the many MS & Me groups, pages, outreach programs, social media and radio show since 2016.
